We are seeking an individual to work with X-ray and CT techniques to assist in the development and Failure Analysis of consumer electronics. While a background in Industrial X- ray/CT and/or electronics is not required, experience working in a lab environment and an openness and ability to learning on the job is ideal. A significant portion of the role will involve determining best scan setup for a variety of samples as well as using own knowledge of electronics/materials and communication with other engineers to effectively analyse the resulting data. This person must work well in a team environment.
Depending on experience and skills, duties may include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field

Familiarity with Failure Analysis techniques such as Optical Microscopy, X-ray/CT, XRD, SEM, EDS, FIB, FTIR, GCMS etc.
