Due to ongoing investment in our maintenance and reliability functions, we currently have an opportunity for a technically astute, team oriented Electrical Technician to join our team in North Ryde on a night shift basis (4 on 4 off, 5:45pm to 6:am, 12 hour shifts). Working within the broader Electrical Engineering Services Department, you will report to the site Electrical Lead and work in partnership with Engineering and Production, whilst contributing to OEE targets and asset care programmes.
More specifically you will:
+ Ensures all safety and operating procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment
+ Undertake fault-finding and provide preventative and breakdown maintenance solutions, following procedures and safety standards to maintain the day to day and long term efficient running of the electrical and control system plant and equipment.
+ Proactively develop expertise of current electrical and control system technologies used at the manufacturing site, including SOPs and work instructions for the equipment maintenance and operation.
+ Manage technical improvement projects to develop electrical and control system plant for increased performance and quality
+ Support group operations by contributing to the development of procedures and systems and performing safety and site training tasks (eg. Housekeeping audits)
+ Complete administrative duties including work reporting, purchasing and quality tasks in SAP

Desired Experience
+ Recognised Australian trade qualification and current electrical license
+ Post Trade certification and training in electronics/instrumentation and or practical experience in industrial maintenance.
+ Familiarity with PLC controlled equipment robotics and machinery
+ Exposure and familiarity with SCADA, Servo drives and Microprocessors ideally from within the Pharmaceutical or Food Industry
+ Project Management experience and a desire to contribute to a best in class Maintenance and Reliability function.
