It applies innovative techniques to develop high technology Performance Materials threads, yarns and fabrics in areas such as Transportation, Telecommunications and Energy, and Personal Protection.Headquartered in the UK, Coats is a FTSE 250 company, a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series, a participant in the UN Global Compact and a Network member of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.Role PurposeAssisting sales force in maintaining the existing business & generating new business in embroidery business.Embroidery design development and enhancement design for customers (brand and contractor/vendor level).In conjunction with superior/line manager & relevant teams to analyze, evaluate & test new products as a result from new development process or due to some changes, eg: raw material, manufacturing process, chemicals, etc as well as competitors’ products and perform sewing analysis/trial.Key AccountabilitiesShowing & proving the benefits of using Coats embroidery products in the area of productivity improvements & quality enhancements to customers through Productivity Enhancement Solutions (PES) trial and EVC concepts.Working with ESC Coordinator and producing standardization book, design collection and sample book for brand and vendor customers.Making proper maintenance to embroidery machines.Providing technical solutions for customers related with sewing problems, both online/virtual (phone or email, etc) as well as offline/on the spot technical assistance when required.Providing technical & product knowledge updates to both internal (Coats) & external (customers) through technical seminars, technical bulletins, etc.Providing customers with Embroidery Design Viewer / EDV program and training for the users of program.Education, Qualifications and ExperienceEssentialMinimum Diploma-1 graduate (major in graphic / mechanical / textile, etc)Product knowledge, Embroidery machine knowledge, Material knowledge, Stitching knowledge, Thread technical knowledge.Minimum 2 years as digitizer or Technical Services in embroidery field.Familiar with embroidery software and embroidery machine operation as well as maintenance.DesirableDiploma-3 degree (major in graphic / mechanical / textile, etc)Prior working experience in senior technical or senior technical sales from embroidery machine supplier, embroidery factory or embroidery software.Planning, Analysis & problem solving, Negotiation, communication & reporting, Product Knowledge, Leadership & People Management, Quality Awareness.
