About the Role
We are seeking caring and motivated people to join our Rockingham team and we have full time opportunities available. The role of an Employment Consultant and Employment Broker are responsible for the case management of their allocated customers with the objective of helping them find and keep a decent job. Using a case management framework, you will focus on improving the customers’ capacity to work by stabilising non-vocational issues and building vocational skills and experience.
These roles will also include undertaking ‘marketing’ of customers to suitable employers and running group based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job opportunities for customers.
The right person for this role will possess a genuine passion for recruitment and working with those in need, an ability to meet tight deadlines and individual targets. You will also contribute to a positive site team culture where integrity, competence and honesty are highly valued. There will also be a strong focus on generating suitable vacancies and job referrals to place our customers in.
Due to COVID-19, Workskil Australia has made some adjustments to how the business operates and how we deliver our services. This means that a majority of customer appointments and employer contacts are being conducted over the phone in the short term!
You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice. Recent Graduates who have completed a Minimum Bachelor of Psychological Science or related qualification are highly encourage to apply.
Previous experience in the employment services industry or similar will also be highly regarded.

Remuneration
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
