As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be working with a team of other engineers, infrastructure administrators, and product managers to automate activities supporting DevSecOps applications and functionality. (e.g., application patches, upgrades, and re/installations; re-hydration on target AMIs, smoke and regression test execution, PKI certificate application, and general system/service monitoring, restarts, and alerts). You will be part of an Agile team to continuously improve CI/CD capabilities, automation, testing and verification, product integration, and migration of services to Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).

Contributions:

  • Coordinating and working with engineers on the design, deployment and continuous improvement of infrastructure services (i.e., logging, monitoring and alerting) and operations and maintenance.
  • Scoping of work, management of backlog and predictability of project delivery.
  • Providing input into long-range platform requirements and operational guidelines, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement of Platform Service Composability and availability.
  • Developing and promoting best practices/methodologies for provisioning, application scaling, configuration management, capacity planning, monitoring, etc. to improve organization-wide visibility into how distributed systems interact and perform in production.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience and understanding of how to configure, deploy, manage and maintain large cloud-hosted systems; including auto-scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting and disaster recovery.
  • Proficiency with source control, continuous integration, and testing pipelines.
