We are currently seeking an experienced and versatile New Product Introduction Engineer to join our team. In this role, the primary responsibility will be to drive the successful scale-up of products from Development to Manufacturing utilizing a Stage Gate Process.
Ththe NPI Engineer should utilize their skills/experience to influence product design teams to improve design for manufacturability, while ensuring the highest levels of quality. Achieving this goal will require the use of collaboration, influence, and individual skills to interface with all functions across the organization.
As part of Entegris’ Operations team, the NPI Engineer will work closely with the Production cell team to ensure Manufacturing Readiness of the new product portfolio. Expectations are to engage with the Manufacturing Engineers, Production Supervisors, and Operators to drive the successful transition of products from early development to product release.
You The candidate needs to have the ability to look forward to manage multiple projects across the product portfolio, and collaborate/partner closely to communicate and knowledge share in a team that partners closely with its customers.
Serve as a core team member for assigned NPI Projects as the liaison between Development Engineering and Operations, pulling products to market.
Have a deep understanding of technical aspects of filtration including pleating, materials, and membrane. LifeScience bioprocessing filtration will be a plus.
Work closely with the LS Filtration R&D team to ensure that the customer requirements are met – this includes a holistic understanding of LS Filtration claims and customer documentation.
Work closely with Development Engineering to proactively influence product and process design for better manufacturability.
Develop Manufacturing Plans for assigned projects. Topics include selection of manufacturing site, raw and finished goods material planning, chemical/waste plan, ramp/capacity planning, cost roadmap, etc.
Drive Improvement Projects (yield, process capability, etc.) to maximize Gross Margin and Predictability.
Prepare Process Documentation to support Product Launch.
Manage customer samples and Product Qualification builds. Work with Operations team to provide special instructions as required.
Assist in directing and controlling processes in accordance with defined policies and procedures. Assists with analyses and audits on processes in order to make recommendations on such items as safety, quality, cost, waste reductions, and efficiency.
Document operation of equipment and process with operator work instructions
Create Bill of Materials
Lot records and any other information required in manufacturing
Evaluate production process being proposed and verify predicted yield
Production timing studies and capacity planning
Evaluate raw material specifications and incoming inspection

Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred.
Must have 4-6 years related experience
Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of the development process. Constantly working to ensure no surprises.
Actively Pulling products into manufacturing, while ensuring project commit dates are always met.
Creating data driven Manufacturing Plans to ensure long term portfolio success.
