Relectrify is a high-growth venture that builds cutting-edge technology to reduce the cost and unlock extra lifetime in lithium-ion batteries. About the Technology

Relectrify’s advanced battery management system (BMS) comprises of three parts: hardware electronics controlling power flows inside battery packs; embedded software algorithms that inform how the hardware electronics operate; and data analytics to allows customers to monitor their batteries and allow continuous improvement of Relectrify’s algorithms. Together Relectrify uses these to notably increase battery performance and lifetime.

Capable, affordable battery storage unlocks value for customers from farms to solar houses, power grids, and beyond. Relectrify therefore actively forms strategic collaborations with innovative, sector-leading storage companies across the world to jointly develop and release uniquely positioned storage products

The Role

We are looking to bring in a highly organised and empathetic individual to join and support Relectrify's growing engineering team. As the key support for a team that works at the leading edge of firmware / software and hardware, you will guide the path through key project and product challenges, ensuring the team and its members have the processes, skills and support required for successful outcomes.

You will thrive in a dynamic and constantly changing environment, possess deep people management expertise, ideally in firmware / software environments, and derive satisfaction from knowing your work makes a difference. You will work directly with our co-founders (CTO and CEO) on tasks including:

- Create and shape company project management processes

- Translate high-level goals into stepwise action plans and timelines for firmware and hardware teams

- Monitor technical and project progress, manage task dependencies and staff prioritisation, and resolve bottlenecks

- Support team members both on team and personal development, including through retrospectives and performance reviews

- Contribute to finding highly motivated and capable team members to join Relectrify's growing team on our journey

- Proactively contribute to the ongoing development and shaping of company culture in a growing venture

- For candidates with strong software experience: guide Relectrify's high-level structuring of our firmware / software

- Growth opportunity: Take leadership role in defining, building, and managing Relectrify’s engineering team and projects


About You

- 5+ years engineering experience across e.g. R&D, deployment / production or customer-facing / support roles

- 3+ years experience in engineering project management roles

- Exceptional people skills, integrity, and a deep passion to support team members in their development

- Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities

- An interest in renewable energy, advanced technologies, and growth companies

- Australian full-time working rights (min. 12 months)
