The Ethernet Smart NIC (SNIC) group develops high speed cutting edge Ethernet controller ASICs for Cloud customers with support for Crypto and Compression capabilities, advanced HW-based storage protocols and compute capabilities.
Our products are targeted for the comms and cloud data center industry and serve as a critical ingredient of Intel's Data Centric strategy, in shaping the Data Center and delivering an Intel end to end solution for this growing market.
The Ethernet group is in the process of developing in-house SoC capabilities - from design and verification, through DFX and physical design, to provide the full SoC capabilities for Smart NIC products.
The Arm Compute Complex (ACC) Engineering Manager owns the execution pace, content and definition of the ACC staging plan. The role requires architectural understanding of networking features, dependencies in VLSI execution disciplines and leadership qualities required to manage multiple Arm IPs and subsystems.
The role is engineering oriented. Deep VLSI experience is required to analyze and prioritize dependencies between Design, verification, Physical design and emulation. The EM will drive the ACC execution plan, managing IPs execution in a matrix organization as well as the ACC integration and feature staging plan, to meet customer requirements and tapeout milestones.
- 10y+ Logic design experience in an ASIC development company.
- 5y+ Managerial experience in an ASIC development company (2nd line management / matrix management).
- Arm Design and methodologies experience
- Familiarity with ASIC project development stages.
- Physical design knowledge in advance process nodes.
- FPGA / emulation development familiarity
- Networking experience (Ethernet, PCIe, TCP/IP)
- Excellent communication skills - working in a multi-Geo multi-cultural environment
