Job Description

Escrow.com is the world's leading provider of secure online payments. We act as a trusted third party for transfers of goods or services, securing funds from a buyer until the seller has sent the goods. We have handled over US$3.5 Billion in secured transactions to date. Transactions we’ve facilitated include domain names (such as uber.com, snapchat.com, spacex.com, twitter.com, instagram.com, freelancer.com and gmail.com), motor vehicles (including classic cars, boats and aircraft), electronics, jewelry, and more.

We are looking for a committed Engineering Manager to join us to aid our rapid growth. The right candidate will be closely working with two teams of talented engineers who has been delivering codes to a high standard including rigorous linting, testing and review. Joining us constitutes an opportunity to both learn and have a great impact on a fast growing company. You will be in a position to have a strong level of control over the technical direction of the company.

Since our acquisition by Freelancer.com in 2015, the majority of the legacy codebase has been migrated and redeveloped on a modern stack, meaning that now is a perfect time to join as the company transitions from solving problems of the past to producing elegant integrations with partners and payments infrastructures.

So if you excel at architecting web applications at scale, enjoy the challenge of writing optimised lightning fast SQL for complex data sets, have experience structuring extensible data and application logic, and are passionate about designing high quality service APIs, then we'd love to hear from you!
