FlexQube provides industrial carts built with a flexible system of standardized building blocks.
We are looking for a technically skilled service technician to travel to our customers to perform
equipment and machine repairs. The service technician's responsibilities include traveling to
customers' locations, remotely accessing equipment, and performing routine maintenance and
repair. The Engineering Service Technician will install and test products and provide customers with
instructions on the proper usage of our products: mechanical carts, AGV, AMR, LiftRunner.
- An associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or a technical certification is
required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
- A valid passport and US visa are required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Computer Science, or a related field is desired.
- Basic knowledge of computer-aided drafting and manufacturing software used for creating
system designs.
- An in-depth understanding of computer science, machine learning, mathematics, physics,
and mechanics.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and
spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. (Interviews will be conducted in
English)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Help Desk or Robotics Field Service Engineer role.
- Experience working at a technical level with industrial robots, AGVs, or AMRs, including
troubleshooting, programming, configuration, and industrial communication protocols.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications, help desk software (Salesforce), and SAP is a
plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose basic technical issues.
- Experience interpreting electrical diagrams and industrial networks.
- Basic knowledge in the verification and validation of robot software.
- Basic knowledge and experience in using welding and soldering equipment for prototype
creation.
- Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer
hardware/software.
- Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and principles for precision technical plans,
blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to explain complex terms and compose clear
manuals and instructions.
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt to stressful situations.
- Strong time management skills to meet design process milestones.
- Ability to prioritize and manage open issues.
- Determining and performing planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on equipment.
- Ensuring the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials for specific tasks.
