To Develop, Manage and evolve effective & efficient procurement Strategies for Hardware and Trim achieving and exceeding functional quality standards, through a strong and competent supplier base and strategically sound relationships. Responsible for optimising efficiencies in Supply, RM stock management and on time delivery.


Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Develop, in partnership with the Senior Management, robust supplier strategies and procurement approaches
  • Partner with the business and maintain continuous dialogue to understand on-going business needs & future aspirations
  • Build & establish collaborative partnerships with suppliers, including timely 2 way communications, feedback on performance, risk mitigation
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with the key business partners to benefit business growth
  • Own the end to end management activities of the supplier base (including but not limited to selection participation, on boarding, negotiation, matrix & risk management, capacity management, performance, score-card & exit )
  • Track commodity price fluctuations in response to market trends to support RM commodity hedging where relevant
  • Ensure the effective execution of RM activities in line with the procurement critical path and drive selection
  • Effectively manage team, identifying training needs and coaching and developing them to maximise ability and competence
  • Manage & monitor budget provisioning activity in line with hindsight analytics & procurement strategy


  • Ensure supplier base maximises quality, cost and efficiency benefits
  • Anticipate seasonal procurement or supply issues and expedite solutions
  • Ensure good visibility of all round supplier performance
  • Partner with business to support excess RM utilisation

Feedback & Reporting

  • Review supplier performance management feedback & agree appropriate response mechanism
  • Ensure effective use of systems and maintenance & accuracy
  • Provide recommendation on excess management (destruct, donate, sell)

  • Degree in Materials Technology /Engineering or equivalent
  • Negotiation skills
  • Fluent in Italian
  • Advanced level of Excel
  • Strong experience working within Hardware/Trims
  • Knowledge of luxury industry
  • Experience of team management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong soft / inter- personal skills
