About the Roles
Due to an exciting period of growth within our Home Care services, Southern Plus are searching for several Enrolled Nurses to work across the Perth Metro region. There are both Permanent Part Time & Casual roles available. These roles will suit a variety of availabilities between 0700 - 1800 Monday - Sunday.
Our Enrolled Nurses form a critical part of our wider clinical team that works for our Home Care unit, and support the focus of providing a holistic approach to clients health and happiness and to meet their changing needs. Southern Plus are committed to tailoring our caring services to the individuals who are receiving them and we want to make the time we are spending with our clients as valuable as possible for them. Our Enrolled Nurses undertake tasks that include wound care, medication administration and other requirements that meet client needs.
These roles will work in consultation with the team of Care Coordinators who coordinate the support and services to our home care clients, the Support Workers who deliver these services, the Nurse Practitioner for our Home Care Unit and with other Allied Health professionals working within Southern Cross Care.
We look to hire reliable, motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurses. Our preferred candidates have experience working within Aged Care and will be flexible problem solvers who are used to going above and beyond for clients to achieve health outcomes.
To be successful you will need to possess:
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
At least 3-4 years of experience as a community nursing professional
Previous experience in Aged Care is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and multi-task effectively
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain rapport with clients and other key stakeholders
A flu shot for 2020, a drivers licence, first aid training and a reliable vehicle
