We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager (DACH). This role is the driver of our New Business Development activities in the DACH region. Managing a team of Enterprise Solution Executives and Growth Marketing Personnel, the BDM serves a hybrid role, not only in producing revenue to meet their individual targets and providing mentorship and management to their assigned staff, but also setting the new business strategy for the market and working with business stakeholders to action their plan. The BDM will report to the Client Solution Lead - DACH.

Typical activities

  • Identifying and generating leads in target verticals and markets
  • Monitoring and reporting on their Lead/MQL/SQL/Conversion pipeline and optimizing accordingly
  • Directly working with new business opportunities to convert SQL’s to Clients
  • Working directly with clients during their introduction with Straker to ensure a proper contractual and technical setup before the CCS transition
  • Providing clients with workflow, pricing and technology information as appropriate for the sale and the client setup.
  • Using their skills and knowledge to push clients and the business to innovate


  • Significant experience in Business Development
  • A background in tech, advertising or marketing
  • C2 level in German, fluent in English
  • The ability to plan and strategize at a senior level
  • A persuasive and confident approach to program creation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective team management capabilities
  • A keen attention to detail, both programmatic and analytical
  • Experience as a localization customer is desirable but not required


Greater Cologne area (possibility of working remotely with monthly on-site meetings)
