We are currently seeking expressions of interest for this leadership role in Advisians Western Australian Environment and Society Team to manage the growth of our Marine Environmental business.  The role will be to operate at a Senior to Principal level Environmental Consultant level in marine monitoring, marine approvals, environmental impact assessment and environmental management across all sectors. This role will work with and develop relationships regionally and globally with Advisians and Worleys Environment and Society teams.

The role will be responsible for business development, winning and managing work, delivering technical work and providing quality support to team members to facilitate the growth of capability within the business.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Manage the growth of the Marine Environmental pipeline within Advisian’s APAC Environment and Society (E&S) team including:
  • Developing a sector strategy/action plan and measuring performance against the strategy.
  • Developing and mentoring people within the E&S team to increase the internal capacity to deliver projects in the marine space.
  • Assisting to secure and manage workload for the E&S team as part of the Perth E&S leadership group.
  • Ensuring that the E&S team has the materials and resources necessary to deliver quality service.
  • Writing and winning proposals for clients
  • Ensuring the technical soundness and quality of work produced by the E&S team.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with a range of clients and stakeholders in environmental projects.
  • Strong people management experience with over 10 years’ experience in the marine environmental field.
  • Relevant Tertiary Degree (Environment / Science)
  • Strong client relationships and business development skills
  • Outstanding project management and directorship skills
  • Experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
  • Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in the environmental field.
  • A recognised Environmental Engineering or Science degree, or equivalent.
