The equipment engineer is responsible for the maintenance plan of a specific set of Fab tools, in this case for Etest Measurement tools and probers, and other Fab Measurement tools.

In a context where continuous improvement is a critical success factor, the equipment engineer is always looking for opportunities to make the maintenance plan more efficient and cost-effective, while guaranteeing the required equipment performance in terms of quality (measurement accuracy and repeatability), and availability. He uses statistical methods to make this assessment (MSA, tool matching,..). Evidently, there will be a close cooperation with the production organization and the engineering department. The equipment engineer is part of Fab Operations in Oudenaarde and reports to the Litho Division Manager.

  • Supports and trains a team of maintenance technicians working in shifts
  • Identifies root causes for complex equipment problems and implements solutions
  • Executes difficult corrective maintenance actions
  • Applies a cost effective spare part management
  • Supports a safe and clean working environment by using 5S+
  • Masters degree in electronics or electro-mechanics
  • Familiar with statistical analysis and LEAN manufacturing techniques (SMED, Kaizen, MSA …)
  • Motivated to achieve high quality standards
  • Strong attitude towards achieving results
  • Good team player, collaborate well with other team members
