Looking for an ambitious, motivated and hard-working team player to prospect, cross-sell and originate best-in-class ideas and solutions across Asia, and to build long-term relationships with our institutional clients, specifically sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, pension funds and insurance companies.

The Equities Sales Trading Team bridges the gap between research, research sales and the trading and executions side of the business; covering clients from a trading perspective and have a duel role in facilitating business, taking and executing orders as well as pushing trading ideas and building IPOs and placement deals.

Based in Hong Kong, this role will be part of Cross-Product Sales (XPS) team and be involved in trading of all asset classes across equities and derivatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide best execution on client orders, working with clients and traders to find a best strategy for the order
  • Execute agency orders directly on the exchange where appropriate and provide liquidity to customers by finding crosses or capital facilitation across Asia ex-Japan equities markets
  • Provide customers with market color, news, flow information, and trading ideas as well as other helping with other business requests
  • Work with Equity Capital Markets to build IPOs and placement deals in Asia ex-Japan


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record
  • 2-4 years of experience, preferably in a Trader role and a keen interest in financial markets
  • Practical product knowledge of all asset classes across equities and derivatives a distinct advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English with fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred but not required
