About the role:

Reporting through to the General Manager Strategy, Change and Support this role will be responsible for leading and communicating the development of strategy across the Retail business. This will include developing business strategies across the network, enhancing communication channels and identifying external business trends and opportunities for development.

The successful candidate will provide support to the Retail Leadership team with the coordination and preparation of various Board, Committee and Retail Banking Executive reports. This will include preparing detailed presentations to senior leaders on key business issues; in addition to coordinating agendas, action items and papers.

Additional deliverables will include the development and governance of an accountability framework to support performance monitoring across the retail function.

About you:

This appointment will suit a commercially astute individual, who possesses dedicated experience working within a strategically focused role.

Relevant candidates will be able to demonstrate a prior history working with senior leaders to provide support across the areas of strategy, governance and communications. A background in financial services would be advantageous but is not essential.
