About the Role ...
The Facility Manager is a highly valued team member who report the General Manager - Residential Care. The Facility Manager has responsibility of their residential home successful business operations, including managing the facility leadership team and care team as well as ensures the support, care and emotional well-being of our residents.
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the business operations of the home and a high standard of care for residents including a high level clinical care, lifestyle activities, quality of meals and emotional well-being. At all times the Facility Manager ensures the home meets the Aged Care Quality Standards legislative and statutory requirements and regulations and is successful with Accreditations. Key to the success of this position are operational efficiency, sustainable best practice, maximising income and occupancy.
About you ...
You are a highly organised and self-motivated individual with excellent clinical and management knowledge of aged care - someone who can manage their time and be flexible with their workloads. You will have business experience in managing staff matters including overseeing the roster and managing the budget. You'll have a high level of skills in mentoring your team and a focus on internal leadership and empathy and compassion for residents and their families.
