Job Description

This role is an integral part of the Completions team and will be responsible for the completion team performing installation of Completion equipment at rig site. The Field supervisor reports to the Business Unit Coordinator and works closely with the local Application Engineering team. In the context of the rig site it is normal for there to be a number of field operators to lead and supervise as part of the installation team.
The Field Supervisor is responsible for all operational and procedural activities within his remit. The role is measured by the accurate fulfilment of the job Technical Objectives, Efficiency, Learning, HSE & Environmental performance, but can include other aspects on a job-by-job basis.
Weatherford Completion includes a number of segments such as cased hole, and Sand Control and includes specialist areas such as Reservoir Isolation Valves or Expandable Sand Screens. Whilst you may have initial experience and competence in one area, you will be expected to install and learn any completion equipment and attaining the relevant competence standards through self-development, job experience, mentorship and formal training provided. Additional areas covered are recognised under the grade structure accordingly.
+ Responsible for coaching and mentoring team members as directed;
+ Accountable for managing the performance of team members who may be assigned as your development to Field Supervisor level.
+ Responsible for planning, prioritising and scheduling tasks;
+ Reducing unnecessary work and promoting and executing efficiency;
+ Accountable for the execution of Business and Operational Planning.
+ Preparation, Installation and maintenance of completion equipment as per relevant company product line procedures. In general the main objectives can be summarised as full system technical objectives being met, without HSE incident and NPT. These are delivered through:
+ Demonstrate advanced knowledge of field operations including but not limited to completions, remedial workovers, cementation and stimulation operations
+ Supervision, demarcation of tasks, quality control, guidance and mentoring of the installation team
+ Ensures that all pre-job checks are conducted and that the full equipment package is ready for the job complying with all relevant standards and criteria. This includes assisting in workshop preparation of equipment.
+ Attendance of internal and Operator pre-installation meetings
+ Installation of completion equipment at site complying with all Weatherford, Operator and Rig Contractor procedures and policies. Whilst at well-site interface may be required (if supervisor absent) with Company representative, tool pusher, drill crew, completion engineer and third parties to ensure that all well acceptance criteria for the installation have been met. Highlight areas of deficiency or non-compliance to your supervisor or onshore
+ Deviations from procedures require a Management of Change (MOC) process. This is the field supervisors responsibility to raise and administer wherever necessary.
+ Inspection of all equipment prior to load out to ensure compliance to work instructions and correct documentation.
+ Attend all post-installation meetings contributing to improvement through analysis of performance
+ Assist in workshop operations on post-job equipment re-dressed, assembled and tested, maintained and stored to ensure that the equipment will be in good order for the next job.
+ Ensure completion of all post-job administrative work for COMPANY, including:
+ Backload documentation and manifests
+ Field running report (WPTS)
+ Job performance appraisal
+ Equipment failure report (if required)
+ Weatherford Job Ticket
+ Weatherford personnel service ticket
+ Weatherford CPAR report for any problem or malfunction
+ End of well report
+ Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfill these.
+ Experience running completion equipment.
+ Understanding of sand control, cased hole and other completions equipment.
+ Experience in MODU and tender assisted rig operations.
+ Knowledge of rig floor operations and associated handling procedures.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ QHSSE procedural knowledge
+ Understanding of quality management principles.
+ Basic knowledge of relevant computer software.
+ Good customer and employee interpersonal skills.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills, especially English.
+ Minimum of 5 years relevant oilfield experience.
