The Opportunity

We are looking for Field Service Engineer to join our growing Technical Services team.  Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will troubleshoot, calibrate and repair our haemodialysis machines and water treatment systems ar our Renal Care Clinics.

The Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, calibrate and repair machines within guidelines and service documentation processes and procedures
  • Attend customer sites to perform quarterly preventative maintenance as well as upgrades to the latest firmware to their existing fleet as required (in Australia and New Zealand)
  • Be the first point of contact for third party service providers and Avitum Renal Care Centres (RCC).
  • Consult to internal & external customers in relation to trouble shooting, diagnostic and providing technical support
  • Provide super user training for selected staff at Avitum RCC as required.
  • To ensure that the company’s quality assurance system is complied with and maintained in all relevant areas

The Requirements

  • Formal technical qualifications are preferred
  • Experience repairing haemodialysis machines is essential, and experience with reverse osmosis units/ water treatment systems is highly preferred
  • Flexible, team oriented approach
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • High attention to detail
