The Molten Metal Systems business of Morgan Advanced Materials manufactures an extensive range of high-performance crucibles and foundry consumables for non-ferrous metal melting applications

We provide melting solutions for foundries, die-casters and melting facilities working with zinc, precious metals, aluminium, copper, brass, bronze and other non-ferrous metals.

Reporting to the Managing Director (MCIL) with a functional dotted line to the MMS Finance Director, the Finance Manager will lead the day to day operations of the finance and company secretarial functions, supported by a central shared service function. In addition, the Finance Manager will business partner with the MD (MCIL) and take a senior leadership position within the business. The Finance Managerwill manage external relationships with shareholders, India government and tax authorities and other stakeholders.

The Finance Manager will work closely with other sites and finance team members across MMS and the wider group.


  1. Day to day management of the finance team and company secretarial function.
  2. Business partnering the MD (MCIL) with clear and insightful financial analysis, supporting profitable growth for the business in line with the global MMS strategy.
  3. Fully support and ensure functional success of MMS SS team
  4. Overall responsibly for the presentation of monthly financial results in line with MMS deadlines, identifying key drivers to performance, demonstrating an ability to communicate these drivers clearly to key stakeholders.
  5. Management of all external reporting requirements in line with Mumbai Stock Exchange requirements ensuring timely submission of all statutory reporting including taxation.
  6. Management and optimisation of working capital within the business.
  7. Full ownership of the monthly forecast process.
  8. Ownership of the annual budgeting process for the business.
  9. Supporting investment proposals with high quality, reasoned financial analysis.
  10. Ownership of adhoc tasks as requested by the MMS Finance Director.

• Professional finance qualification or a degree in a relevant subject, CA preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in finance operations and FP&A.
• Advanced Excel modelling skills.
• Experience of external reporting and stakeholder management within a publicly listed business preferred.
• Experience of SAP is preferred.
