Takapuna based, hands on Finance Manager for large multinational, operating in the logistics sector

The Company

My client is one of the world's largest companies in the logistics sector, this billion-dollar multinational is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to look after the New Zealand subsidiary. The culture is collaborative and team oriented. With some of the most stunning offices in Auckland!

The Role

With dual reporting to the NZ Country Manager and the Finance Business Director based in Sydney. My client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager that has worked in a large multinational and understand the complexities that come with working for a global entity. You will have one direct report and be responsible for the New Zealand finance function along with overseeing the admin and office management.

This is a broad role where you will be responsible for the overall responsibility of the Finance function, including:

  • Provide financial support and partner the NZ Country Manager, Sales manager, Ops manager and customer services teams

  • Overall responsibility for the Financial Reporting package to HQ

  • Managing the budget and forecasting

  • Month end reporting

  • Fixed assets

  • Tax, GST, FBT

  • Treasury

  • Year end, statutory accounts

  • Compliant and Audit management

Your Profile

My client is looking for a CA qualified Accountant who is experienced in a similar role. This is a complex business and will ideally suit someone that has worked in a multinational type structure and reported offshore previously.

You will have demonstrated excellent leadership & mentoring capability, strong technical skills and have a hands-on approach.
