FINANCE- Supervisor Payroll

This position is responsible to ensure proper compliance for all the Argentina, Chile and Uruguay payroll activities in the company: taxes, statutory payments, benefits, and other items to respective parties. In addition, this individual will be responsible for perform the standard set of internal controls over LATAM payroll processes.

1. Ensure the vendors make accurate and timely preparation of earnings statements and payment of wages for the employees in LATAM (Either Argentina, Chile, Peru or Uruguay).
2. Follow payroll-related compliance and controls.
3. Resolve employee level payroll problems and investigate any discrepancy.
4. Identify and present solutions for continuous process improvement, workshops and knowledge sessions quarterly, at a minimum.
5. Build and foster “customer” relationships with key business partners, both internal and external.

FORMAL EDUCATION: (GENERALLY, IF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE, THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THREE YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY ONE YEAR OF COLLEGE EDUCATION REQUIRED)

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or Accountant with relevant work experience. (Lic en Recursos Humanos o Relaciones laborales)
• CPA or comparable

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• 2 -3 year of related experience with knowledge of all aspects of payroll processes and related systems, including garnishments, benefits, taxes, Social security, local legislations, time & attendance in Argentina, Chile & Uruguay.

Preferred:

• Intermediate English, written and verbal.
