Job responsibilities

  • Develops and delivers financial reporting, controls, and procedures to ensure financial information is reported accurately and timely for group deadlines.

  • Prepares, interprets, and analyzes financial data, business metrics, and ad-hoc reports for global management.

  • Builds annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.

  • Partners with the business to help leaders achieve targets (revenue, sales, utilization, margin expansion initiatives). Produces ad hoc reports as required.

  • Serves as a key contact point for interpretation and investigation of financial results in assigned areas.

  • Provides financial insights into business growth trends and profitability in assigned areas.

  • Assists management and others within Finance department with miscellaneous projects as directed by supervisor.


What we’re looking for

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience.

  • Pharmaceutical or CRO experience preferred.

  • Experience using:

    • Microsoft Power BI

    • Spotfire

    • Salesforce

    • Essbase and/or Hyperion

  • Understands a chart of accounts

  • ASC 606 Revenue Recognition Standards

  • Basic accounting (understands debits and credits)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential. Proficiency with accounting software packages is necessary and experience with Oracle Finance is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive data is required.

  • Requires exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

  • Excellent financial, communication, and interpersonal skills are required as well as a high level of personal motivation to achieve.

  • The ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary.
