Job Purpose/Objective:The FP&A Manager is accountable for delivering all required planning \(i\.e\. Business Plans, long term plan, and periodic reforecasts\) including newly established Health businesses with clear communication of financial statement breakdown and variances from prior plan or forecasts / prior periods, preparation of Management reports, performing cost\-benefit analyses for operational projects, and performance various analyses for initiatives / projects\.
Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results:
+ Lead Cigna Thailand’s financial planning process including annual plans, quarterly reforecasts, and long range forecasts for all businesses through development, management, and enhancement of financial models that reflect realistic future expectations of company performance, inclusive of the following:
+ Lead the assumptions \(operating expenses, headcount, sales, etc\.\) gathering exercise with all departments \(Sales, Marketing, Ops, back office, Global Office\);
+ Develop a robust rolling forecast process and improve the accuracy of earnings forecasts;
+ Develop financial models & reports for both local GAAP and U\.S\. GAAP to assess and model the impact of potential business opportunities / strategic investments\. This includes the IFRS 17 implementation;
+ Conduct in\-depth financial review, variance analysis and special project financial performance tracking;
+ Business partner to the CEO/CFO, providing all necessary support to the decision making process
+ Contribute suggestions/ideas on actions that will improve Cigna Thailand’s financial/operational performance \(short/long term\), for example:
+ Recommend actions to streamline processes;
+ Understand local corporate structure and inter\-company charges;
+ Instill a set of controls, check points, and other mechanisms into the overall process to ensure accuracy and reliability of results;
+ Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies/reduce costs;
+ Enhance the quality of financial analysis/reporting
+ Provide leadership to the Finance Division in developing business intelligence and dashboard reporting tools, which can be used as key decision making aids\.
+ Enhanceanalytical tools/processes to advance budget variance analysis \(Opex and Solicitation Costs\)\.
+ Liaise and work closely with Global Office as well as Global Health Businesses to identify and explain result variances, refine reports and metrics, and help improve the Monthly Operating Report \(MOR\) for CIGNA’s leadership team\.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
+ A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields \(professional experience in insurance or financial institution is an advantage\)
+ Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint \(VBA, MS Access, Oracle / HFM Hyperion, BI or Analytics is a plus\)
+ Advanced financial modeling skill \(able to create a financial model from scratch with a clear linkage between financials and businesses / operations and revamp the existing models to reflect the changes in business operations / models\)
+ Strong English communication, negotiation, and presentation skills \(need to work closely with the Global team for Health Businesses\)
