The Venues –

Club Central Hurstville

Illawarra Catholic Club Ltd trading as Club Central operates two of the top performing Clubs in the State located at Hurstville and Menai. Our Hurstville is currently undergoing a major redevelopment which will see a 125 room hotel built, 600 seat convention/function centre, new dining and lounge areas, roof top bar, restaurants. Now is the time to jump on board!

Club Central Menai

Club Central Menai has been in operation since 1962 and has a solid foundation as the destination venue in the Menai region. The Club is a feature piece in the local community and offers first class facilities including 4 bars, 4 function rooms, 2 dining outlets, laser tag, kids play centre and a long day care centre.  

With a combined membership of 50,000, 4 catering outlets, 11 bars, a busy functions department and 500+ gaming machines across the group, the Club attributes its success to great staff and inspirational leaders.

The Roles

We want to provide a meaningful employment to people seeking hospitality as a long term career choice. We also recognise that our roles may suit your current circumstances as you work towards your studies and graduate roles. Whatever your case may be we have roles on offer including casual beverage, gaming, reception and concierge. Our goal is to provide you with a workplace that will provide full exposure to the industry. The most important part for us is being the best at what you do. We will provide all the necessary training for you, but you must have the right mind set to be completely committed to the task at hand and be willing to go the extra mile to complete the job to a high standard. We are going to need good availability from you as our roles require days, nights and weekends. We want to be honest, if you are looking for Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 work, this is probably not the role for you.

The Right Candidate

The right candidate will be ready to commit to delivering outstanding customer service. We want team players who are able to support their team when the going gets tough and have some fun along the way. The ability to be warm and inviting to our members and guests is essential. Whilst experience in the field is an advantage, it isn’t all that we look for in an ideal candidate. You will be provided with a full uniform and we need you to wear it with pride and be neat clean and tidy at all times.
