The Role

We are actively hiring for a Full-Stack Developer who will play a key role in the design and development of a new UI and it’s backend for a large-scale telecommunications project. The successful candidate will join the UI, API and Reporting Team during the Assemble and Implementation phases, working closely with the Solution Architect and Front-End Developers to transform and build a Microservices-based platform utilised by a multinational customer base.

Your Responsibilities

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Work closely with Solution Architect and key stakeholders to design client-side and server-side architecture
• Aid with the build out of front-end application
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Write technical documentation

Your Skills and Experience

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer
• Experienced of creating UI’s from the ground up based on specific customer guidelines (security aware).
• Experience with Angular or other front-end frameworks, e.g. React
• Experience developing REST API’s in Python and/or Go
• Experience working with REST and SOAP Web Service Integration
• Experience with test automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI
• Experience with source control tools: Git, GitLab, Gerrit.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum team

• Desirable skills:
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Database skills and experience - SQL
