Job Title: Full Stack Engineer (Java, Cloud, Data)
Location: Westlake, TX. Open to relocation but local candidates given first priority.
Schedule: Hybrid onsite every other week (5 days per week).
The Role
This role is for an experienced software developer supporting a major modernization effort for retirement medical and savings account platforms. The position is a heavy development role focused on building and deploying cloud-based applications, with 5+ years of Java and Spring/Spring Boot experience and 2+ years of design experience required.
The ideal candidate has strong microservices experience, cloud experience with AWS or Azure, database knowledge across SQL, NoSQL, relational, or cloud-based databases, and hands-on deployment tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, Kafka, Splunk, or DataDog. Nice-to-have skills include Azure, Yugabyte, data engineering, ETL exposure, Spring Batch, deployment experience, and Angular.
Must Have:

  • Java, Spring Boot
  • Spring (No RestAPI's)
  • Some Micro Services
  • Cloud (AWS or Azure)
  • Data Ugabyte is preferred but SQL noSQL,cloud based, relational database or anything like this will be fine


Nice to Have:

  • Data engineering a plus
  • Angular but not required
  • Deployment experience
  • ETL Exposure
  • Spring Batch
