We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Technology team in Paris. Redslim helps clients manage, enrich, harmonise, consolidate and visualise their data assets to enable accurate fact-based decisions. To achieve this, Redslim has a state-of-the-art data factory specialised in the retail vertical. In this role, you will be able to contribute to the Factory’s development & releases as well as shape our future roadmap based on client feedback.
As a Senior Factory Full Stack Engineer you’re expected to have deep understanding of dotNet technologies, web development framework, and SQL/NoSQL databases with a proven software engineering background, along with a deep interest in building data pipelines tools. The role involves creating cloud-based solutions to process data at scale, to support a wide range of data-driven projects.
You’re a technology passionate, intellectually curious self-starter, eager to embrace a continuous improvement & agile mindset by driving change with a strong orientation on execution. You learn quickly and lead the business with a high degree of autonomy and a collaborative approach as a team member. You have an entrepreneur spirit and a competitive and comfortable approach in challenging situations with senior client representatives. Design, implement and maintain quality cloud-based dotNET technical solutions / web front-end frameworks to meet business & client needs using best practice principles of usability, fault-tolerance, reliability, testing and durability for the Factory product
Contribute to the engineering roadmap advocating for upgrades, technical refreshes and new versions
Peer review code and technical solutions to ensure business continuity
Research, suggest and implement best patterns and practices in line with modern industry standards
Produce ad hoc or regular KPIs reports for internal and client consumption
Provide technical documentation, internal training, support to internal operations request related to the Factory
Mentor other engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills required
Integrate with a growing development team as we build an exciting development practice
Skills & Experience
Ability to analyse complex, ambiguous, volatile situation to provide clear, rigorous diagnosis & recommendations
Ability to adopt a consultative approach within an international environment
Autonomous, self-starter, eager to learn & willing to get your hands dirty (more than once!)
Agile methodology (SCRUM/Kanban) practitioner
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills (knowledge of wiki is an advantage)
BAC + 4/5 Grande Ecole d’Ingénieur, top software engineering schools worldwide or strong technical certification
English is our working language.
The following software engineering skills are desirable
Good command of SQL (postgres) and Entity Framework or any other ORM
Familiarity of main cloud services, especially Azure catalog and Databricks (AWS, GCP also considered)
Experience in design, build and operate software systems in the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), along with microservices architecture
Solid knowledge of version control tools (Git) and CI/CD system (Jenkins/ Azure DevOps)
Proven development skills based on design patterns and unit testing using tools and frameworks (Selenium)
Admin experience (Linux/Windows) and DBA experience (postgres)
