The General Manager for the Clean Product Division has a customer and strategic goals perspective and is accountable for achieving and delivering results for the business. The successful candidate will be the steward of Lam’s mission, vision and core values and drive culture accordingly to increase employee engagement and create an environment where successful people want to work. This position is located in the Clean Product Division headquarters in Villach, Austria.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and execute the strategic business roadmap for Clean Product Division
Create differentiated value for our customers ensuring revenue and market share growth for the Clean business.
Promote innovation and leading edge thinking when setting strategy and direction.
Drive successful collaboration across different business units.
Architect and execute strategies and plans successfully.
The Clean GM has full P&L accountability for Lam’s Clean business.
Drive business results by understanding and improving customer experience, products and processes
Deliver differentiated products and services critical to our customers’ success. Prioritize product decisions to meet long term business objectives.
Establish trusting customer relationships.
Ensure accountability systems are in place to meet objectives.
Accelerate people and organizational development to create high performing organizations
Develop a vision of success and partnership that supports the Lam culture.
Develop organization vision, goals and strategies ensuring effectiveness and efficiency.
Architect and execute strategies and organization plans successfully.
Proven leadership background with a successful track record holding middle to top level management roles in a technology company (i.e. semiconductor capital equipment, semiconductor Integrated Circuits).
Minimum of 15 years engineering experience, good understanding of integrated system engineering including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, fluids, and process. Wet equipment and chemistry experience ideal.
Masters or PhD in technical discipline. (Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Chemical engineering).
Strong customer orientation, experienced in sales strategies, financial/business acumen and confident written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in German, and/or Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
Deep business acumen, consulting, analysis, communication, presentation, negotiation, influencing, conflict management and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to present to executive and global audiences.

This position is subject to the AUSTRIAN Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group K. The minimum annual salary for the position (m/f/d) is 93.161,88 EUR gross based on a full-time employment. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
