Within P&C, the Talent department is responsible for AustralianSuper’s recruitment, employer branding, learning, leadership development and talent management activities.

Your new role

To support the development of a sustainable, trusted, high performing and diverse workforce, a new enterprise-wide graduate program will commence in FY23. The Graduate Program Lead is responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of this and future early careers programs at the Fund.

In this strategic and operational role, you will design a fit-for-purpose graduate program with full project plan. You will execute the program, delivering on the recruitment, development, and program management requirements, ensuring inclusivity throughout.

Reporting to the Head of Talent and leading a direct report, you will collaborate across P&C teams and with business unit stakeholders to ensure an exceptional graduate experience, and superior business outcomes are delivered.

  • Program management – project planning and execution, including coordinated communications and activities; risk, vendor, and budget management; and reporting.
  • Continuous improvement – evolve the program and parallel activities (including EVP) in line with business needs to deliver optimal effectiveness and inclusivity.
  • People and functional leadership – lead, manage, coach and develop a direct report as well as our early careers talent in line with the Fund’s purpose, values and behaviours.

What you’ll need

The successful candidate will have considerable experience designing and delivering graduate programs. This includes:

  • Graduate recruitment experience, and conversant in learning and leadership development activities.
  • Project management skills, including planning and reporting.
  • Communication skills, including planning/scheduling and delivery of program/project comms.
  • Highly developed relationship building skills, including the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • High levels of self-motivation and initiative.
