Upjohn - Global Supply Chain
Greater China Supply Lead &
Network Solutions Excellence APAC
Provide support for all supply planning related activities in Greater China and support the needs of market demand and business requirements across business units.
Support the development, planning, and implementation of supply plans to ensure supply continuity and at the same time drive/ manage supply chain performances meeting/ exceeding set targets.
Support revenue goals for Greater China Upjohn business and identify and enable upside revenue opportunities.
Lead the deployment of Supply Chain initiatives (e.g. LRVF, Segmentation, etc.) and implement global projects and initiatives in Greater China markets.
Design and deploy Upjohn strategic, tactical and operational solutions in support of the business and Supply Chain at both regional and global level. Ensure efficient and effective project execution adhering to compliance and utilizing operational excellence principles.
Lead and/or support deployment of Upjohn main strategic and tactical initiatives for the business at APAC level. The Director Network Solutions Excellence leads logistics-related projects/ work-streams in the development, evaluation and implementation planning of projects including distribution & supply network strategies, market access initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, local, regional, or global business development opportunities, new channel strategies, new logistics model design and other strategic initiatives for Upjohn.
Design and Deliver innovative solutions focused on achieving better logistics and supply operating costs (LNS) in alignment with key business strategies.
Drive the development, evaluation, implementation and enhancement of toolkits and provide guidance and training to the NSX organization in close alignment with similar global initiatives. Connect back to other internal or external organizations and initiatives to benchmark practices, and/or evaluate impact of strategic initiatives.
Lead Market Excellence program to maintain, improve and drive high compliant level and sustainable environment in Supply Chain and Distribution.
Actively engage and support Operational Excellence program across the Supply Chain organization, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Greater China Supply Lead:
+ Support all supply/ demand planning activities in Greater China to ensure supply continuity.
+ Manage supply chain performance and data, drive to meet target, track and monitor overall Supply Chain KPIs.
+ Manage supply issue and escalation effectively from Above Market Planning (AMP) Hub and the markets.
+ Provide support and inputs to market in preparation of S&OP.
+ Manage key Product Life Cycle/ Change management activities.
+ Coordinate product supply allocation with Brand Supply Lead (BSL) and Global Commercial Allocation team and provide market insights for decision making.
+ Track and report supply-related financial impacts and identify recovery solutions.
+ Manage annual inventory budgeting process, reduce excess/ slow-moving inventory items in the supply pipeline, and drive inventory optimization in meeting Upjohn's overall working capital objective.
+ Robust understanding of BU financials, Operating Plan process and ability to speak commercial language with all stakeholders.
Network Solutions Excellence (NSX) APAC:
+ Lead the development, evaluation and implementation planning, and provide advice for the implementation of supply, logistics and distribution network strategies at local, regional or global levels, that anticipate current and future business requirements (such as new customer/ market requirements, shift in product portfolio, impact of divestitures/ acquisitions etc.), ensure flexibility/ agility and improve service quality and cost efficiency.
+ Understand the cost/ revenue and process impact of the designed models on both the primary distribution network, by working in close cooperation with the InterCompany Operations team, and on the secondary distribution network, by collaborating with Market colleagues within the Supply Chain organization and beyond, and the broader E2E supply chain implications.
+ Liaise closely with all key stakeholders from the business and other functions in Upjohn Global Supply (e.g. Finance, BT, Quality, Procurement, Regulatory, GFS, Tax, VAT, etc.) for the success of initiatives across regions.
+ Often called to effectively communicate and present, both formally and informally, to a multitude of stakeholders positioned at various levels within the Company, such as Analysts, Managers, Directors, Supply Chain and Upjohn Global Supply Top Management, Business Unit (BU)/ Market leadership team members and occasionally country managers / BU Leads in the various regions.
