We are currently looking for a Digital Group Head  to join us. In this role, you will be responsible in managing a set of client(s) at Wavemaker Indonesia by managing the day to day delivery of digital media planning and excellence for the assigned client(s).

Reporting of the role

This role primarily reports to the Partner - Client Service with secondary reporting to Partner – Digital.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Become the client’s trusted advisor and the media consultant/expert for client’s media investments and solutions.
  2. Ensure your team's media plan recommendations (social media, mobile, programmatic) solve the client brief strategically with creativity and innovation.
  3. Working on media campaign reviews and recommendations (per campaign, monthly, annually, etc.)
  4. Drive thought leadership with pro-active analysis/solutions/recommendations.
  5. Keeping up-to-date with new developments in the field of ad tech.
  6. Keeping watch on daily/weekly/monthly client media campaign performance and giving the inputs for optimizations.
  7. Manage your team effectively to ensure client media campaign KPIs are achieved within agreed timeline and budget with minimal intervention from your direct manager.
  8. Creation of learning agenda for client
  9. Build strategic partnerships with media vendors/platforms that can benefit client’s business.
  10. Explore newer avenues of generating business (app downloads/ leads) for client
  11. Ensures client budgets are in line with agency revenue goals and you contribute to new business projects.
  12. Manage your team effectively to maintain team motivation and develop team members.

Measures of success
In three months, you would have:

  1. Integrated effectively and in good manner with clients, teams, vendors and partners
  1. Understood the client's overall business, Wavemaker’s vision and ambition, our agency business model and the media industry.
  2. Understood what needs to be accomplished by your team to achieve client and agency goals and ensuring the team is aligned with it.

In six months, you would have:

  1. Managed your team effectively to ensure client media campaign KPIs are achieved within agreed timeline and budget with minimal intervention from your direct manager.
  2. Ensure client concerns are handled regularly with problem solving any campaign issues.
  3. Ensure timely reporting of campaign performance with quality insights and recommendations.
  4. Ensure each team member has clear goals and KPIs and establish ground-rules to ensure efficiency and success.
  5. Ensures client budgets are in line with agency revenue goals and you contribute to new business projects.

In 12 months, you would have:

  1. Grown existing client brands by selling ideas and company products to the client that are in line with their business goals.
  2. Map out new media/content opportunities that can lead to award winning pieces of work.
  3. Mentored and trained your team to be better at their core skills
  4. Deliver best in class insights & analytics for all digital campaigns.
  5. Have contributed to the Wavemaker culture through participation and behavior that aligns to the Wavemaker values

What you will need:

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in digital media, performance, and programmatic buying (or a role that covers above knowledge areas)
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both written and spoken)
  • Experience in managing performance marketing campaigns/clients (including SEM)
  • Well versed with FB Campaign manager, Google Ads, DV360/TTD, Google Analytics, Appsflyer/Branch, etc
  • Experience of App marketing campaigns
  • Ability to write digital media strategy presentations
  • Ability to manage Clients
  • Ability to manage and groom team members
  • Experience in SEO will be considered an advantage
  • Experience in audience planning or DCO will be considered an advantage
