Overview of job
We are looking for a Training & Engagement Manager/Group Head to lead our employee engagement and development initiatives through hosting creative training and engagement programs. This is a dual role and the incumbent will have the opportunity to contribute towards GroupM’s engagement and training initiatives.

As the Engagement Specialist you will be responsible for contributing to and delivering GroupM’s Employee Engagement strategy across the business to maximise levels of employee engagement and retention. In the training role, you will work across many departments to get employees up to speed in both their specific vertical, and the overall needs of the company.

Measures of success –

In three months:

  • Operate independently on the training systems, processes, and operations.
  • You would’ve launched and successfully ran at least 2 employee engagement initiatives across GroupM.

In six months:

  • Conducting webinars and generation of basic reports
  • Assume the responsibility of driving engagement activities for PAN India.

In 12 months:

  • Attend classroom workshops and get familiar with content and materials and create content for e-modules.
  • You should be able to present the annual engagement strategy for GroupM India.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Ensure delivery of training sessions as per the annual training calendar. This involves scheduling sessions with trainers, ensuring the sessions run to optimum capacity, conduct periodic audits to see if we’re on track.
  • Maintain the training database and create dashboards of data intelligence.
  • Analyze data and mine insights which can then be shared with managers
  • Establish excellent relationships with all stakeholders, be it the training community, HR teams, participants, etc.
  • Assist in the design and development of e-learning modules
  • Assist in the set-up and delivery of learning-specific webinars
  • Ensure all training documentation, materials and records are effectively compiled and maintained.
  • Deliver high standards of the Aspire experience on ground: materials, venues, overall packaging.
  • Build relationships and collaborate across the business to understand and meet employee engagement requirements, whilst providing high levels of internal customer service.
  • You will partner with HR Business Partners and line managers to understand and meet the employee engagement needs of differing business areas.
  • Analyze and recognize patterns in employee data (i.e. metrics such as employee survey results and turnover etc.) to shape engagement activities, drive action through the line, maximize impact and evaluate success.
  • What you will need:

    • At least 4-7 years of relevant experience.
    • Comfortable with technology and digital platforms
    • Hands-on experience in working on a Learning Management System
    • In depth understanding of managing and analysing data collated for L&D
    • Proficient and comfortable with excel and database systems
    • Overall program management e.g. completing a project as per timelines and given resources
    • Comfortable with creating communications and collaterals – basics like e-newsletters, mailers, posters.
    • You will have knowledge of what motivates, engages and retains employees, and will use this to shape engagement activities.
    • You will keep abreast of industry best practice and innovations to continually evolve and implement GroupM’s engagement activities as appropriate.
    • You will have previous internal communication s/ employee engagement experience, a writer with excellent spelling and grammar and have strong organisation and project management skills.
    • Highly numerical with problem solving and analytical capability.
