Job Description

Do you want to work with like-minded professionals in an organisation where dynamic projects, clinical breakthroughs and healthcare innovations are a part of daily life?
Counties Manukau Health has a track record of innovation and high performance. We now have an ambitious goal to achieve health equity for our community by 2020. We are incredibly proud of the work that has been done, and is continuing to be done, through a variety of improvement work and innovation taking place across the health sector.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources this is an incredible opportunity for the right individual to take on a leadership role within the HR Directorate managing the HR Systems, Reporting and Remuneration teams.
This is a key role in the organisation with key accountabilities to :

  • Lead, oversee and manage the HR systems, reporting and remuneration teams
  • Develop CM Health’s strategy while managing short-term interim information management solutions
  • Oversee and manage strategic change and improvement projects
  • Manage HR systems compliance and data governance

The biggest focus area for this role will be the development, implementation, integration and management of all HR/workforce database, systems and processes. Key to this is establishing and maintaining the “single source of truth” of HR-related information and reporting data for CM Health. The priority is to develop an HRIS strategy which delivers robust systems and processes, improved data integrity and system integration and functionality, risk mitigation, compliance and enhanced user experience. In addition, this role will also manage and recommend plans for continued process improvements and system enhancements to support business strategies and operational needs.
We are looking for an expert who can bring extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of HR systems, including workflow process management systems, data integration and business reporting. You will have a strong affinity for systems including a working knowledge of systems implementation or integration in a large complex organisation. A confident communicator, you will provide leadership to ensure your team provides excellent service while ensuring the advice and initiatives implemented make business sense and fit the needs of the organisation.
This is an amazing opportunity for a senior professional to make their mark and make a difference to CM Health.
