What you’ll be doing:
Manage a team of highly competent & motivated team of Design and Verification engineers with varied experience range. Team size of around 6 to 8.
Strengthen the team - Be involved in the career development, performance management of the team and future hiring for Nvidia. Keep employees motivated and engaged.
Work with HW Architects, Management and team to define the critical features of the IPs – balance the schedule, staffing and scope.
Own the delivery of multiple unit IPs end-to-end from initial planning to post-silicon debugs – handle the day-to-day tactical execution and long-term strategic endeavors.
Provide technical guidance to both design and verification folks in the team. Deliver to high quality standards and aggressive schedules.
Effectively communicate to upper management on unit’s schedule/risks/mitigations/TopNs & communicate to team about changes, companies strategy, roadmap and vision.
What we need to see:
B.Tech / M.Tech with 12+ years of relevant industry experience. Extensive experience in hands-on design of complex unit IPs. Good exposure on verification – either direct hands-on or working level know-how.
6+ years of experience in managing small to medium team sizes efficiently (3-8 folks)
Background in delivering multiple complex design units from end-to-end, including planning, scheduling, staffing, execution, etc, covering both design and verification aspects.
Deep understanding of ASIC design flow including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, prototyping, DFT, timing analysis, floor-planning, ECO, bring-up & lab debug. Excellent problem solving skills.
Good exposure to verification tools and infrastructure – SV/UVM, VCS, FV, debug tools like Debussy, GDB.
Expertise in Verilog and system Verilog knowledge is preferred.
