Position Title: HR Head - Metallurgy Business Reporting to: Group President, Global Metallurgy Business Purpose of the role (Brief Description) To contribute towards achieving metallurgy group 's goal. Aligningindividual goals with organizational goals by having the right person at theright job. Streamlining, Mapping and having the best practices & policies,across the group. To build organizational competencies and have motivatedemployees, for achieving higher performances. General Education, Certification & Experience Graduate in any discipline, MBA (HR) / PG Diploma in Industrial Relations &Personnel Management, core exposure to other areas, certification in usage ofpsychometric tool Experience required for the job: 18 yrs-25 years Job Responsibilities: * A dynamic HR Professional with 18+ years of experience having strong Manufacturing industry background and experience in handling diverse workforce of 1000+ employees in multiple locations including union / non-union, temporary staff, front-line staff, mid-level and Senior Management. * Should have Talent Management Skills for developing teams. Key contributor on executive teams, participating in Organizational Development and Corporate Strategic Planning. * Should be Proficient in managing HR function viz., Talent Acquisition, Training & Development, Performance Management System, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Public Relations, Safety and Personnel & Administration. * Should Overview all Plant Companies - Signing Long Term Wage Agreements and Bonus Agreements. * Should be well versed with various Labour Laws and its compliances, Service Laws and legal implications with focus provide inputs for HRD Policies. * Should design and develop integrated performance management intervention, deriving the right KPIs for the goal sheets, Facilitating the review process and capturing actual against targets * Should facilitate training on various management tools like 5S, Kaizen, Safety, Productivity, etc. * Should Prepare training curriculum and facilitate training program for contract laborers on product safety, personal safety and housekeeping * Will Oversee and if required interact with various government authorities like Factory Inspector, Labour Office, PF, ESIC, Collector Office, Labour Court, Industrial Tribunal, Apprentice Board, Employment Exchange, Municipal Corporation, MIDC, MPCB, etc., on a case to case basis. Strategy: * Keeping abreast of the environment to help align HR with the businesses wherever opportunities arise. Facilitate in distilling and arriving at focused HR strategies for the business as and when required. 3\. Change Management: * Formulating change management strategy * Bringing in change of working styles & synergies & aligning * Exposing the workforce to newer, refined & best practices 4 Balanced Score Card: * Formulation of Strategy Map * Liasoning with the company 's top management team & brainstorming on the strategies & OI * Preparation of BSC for Individual group companies & Cascading * BSC Review & Improvement recommendations 5 Competency * Cascading and building the workforce as per competency frame work. * Facilitating the Development of tools for the assessment of the competencies * Conducting BEI & DC 6 Performance Management System: * Getting PMS Manual in place * Partner with C &B team for incentive & percentage hike and other remuneration policies * Share quarterly analysis, learning, feedback & action plans on PMS * Awareness & Training Programmes related to PMS * Facilitating Promotions 7\. Talent Management: * Formulation of talent management strategy * Talent Management Framework * Creating a Pipeline of competent workforce * Identifying critical positions for SP * Interpretation, Analysis & SP documentation 8 Reward Management: * Reward & Recognition Manual Preparation * Streamlining, Developing & having a uniform appraisal & reward system * Building systems for performance & compensation measurement & reward 10 Group Companies Forum: * Synergize the group companies by regular HR Meets/CEO Meets - update and cascading of best practices. 13 Recruitment & Selection (For Senior Management Positions) * Short listing & Interviewing * CTC Negotiation & LOI * Induction/ Orientation & On boarding * Competency Based Assessment CBA & BEI) 15 Vendor Management: * Ensure cordial relationship with HR Consultants * Keep abreast with the Consultancy services & trends
