How You Will Contribute


The Head Business Development, France is responsible for the acquisition and account management of new and existing leads/clients, such as diagnostic laboratories, clinic chains, health insurance providers, and other health system relevant players in France and Belgium. In addition to the screening, selection, coordination, and support of go-to-market and distribution partners.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Develop Medicus’ market strategy in France and Belgium
  • Research, connect with, and onboard new clients and partners in the healthcare and insurance industries like labs and hospitals
  • Meet and build relationships with various stakeholders in the healthcare and insurance industries
  • Prepare presentations, project scopes, proposals, and contracts for clients and partners
  • Represent Medicus at business-relevant events, conferences, and exhibitions
  • Conduct research to better understand current market needs and markets opportunities that we can tap into
  • Build the processes and the structures of how we work with clients and partners in France and Belgium
  • Support our distribution partners with training them on products, support their sales efforts and accelerate Medicus growth
  • Work closely with the sales and business development leadership team to fine-tune Medicus way of selling and expanding
  • Track all efforts in the CRM and be responsible for reporting market progress to the CEO and management team


Your Profile: 


  • You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in selling tech solutions to large enterprises
  • You have the knowledge and skills to find and win clients and partners on your own
  • You understand the mechanics and dynamics of healthcare and insurance systems
  • You are a top performer and constantly ranked in the top 20% in your previous roles
  • You are a master at consultative selling and know-how
  • Able to develop a deep understanding of client’s business needs and challenges
  • You have successfully negotiated complex contracts with clients and partners before
  • You relate well to all kinds of people and know how to build relationships and harmony
  • You have a solution-oriented mindset and see challenges as opportunities 
  • You are highly structured and organized and can successfully manage multiple projects
  • You are hungry to learn and eager to accelerate your professional and personal growth
  • You are interested in sales and business growth and driven by an entrepreneurial spirit
  • You have completed a university degree in a business or a medical field
  • You are fluent in French and English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
