We are seeking an ambitious bi-lingual (English/Traditional Chinese) self-starter based in Hong Kong, who is passionate about creating and managing the creation of inspiring, informative content that conveys our travel, dining and entertainment expertise to our membership base.

This content will be published throughout the world across digital platform, digital booklets and emails. You will work closely with the Head of Content, APAC, and be responsible for helping to lead and collaborate with a creative team to create and monitor inspirational articles, booklets, reviews and supplier copy, which forms a vital part of the day-to-day operation of the company. The team will be writing in English and Traditional Chinese. You will help manage copy created in Simplified Chinese and Japanese.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Content to lead and manage a team of writers and email marketers across key markets in APAC including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan and Australia.
  • Commission, develop, maintain and refresh short-form and long-form content for the digital platforms, emails and in-house content database, including new restaurants, boutiques, hotels and offers relevant to the membership base.
  • Oversee creation of both editorial and brand/supplier copy, ensuring both are engaging, informative and inspiring.
  • Contribute to the creation of the global content and quarterly calendars that are relevant and engaging.
  • Liaise with key clients on content calendars and content approval.
  • Work closely with the eCRM team and other internal stakeholders to create email calendars and drive traffic to the digital platforms.
  • Work with the Head of Translation to ensure that all copy is relevant for each audience across countries in APAC.
  • Contribute to the ambitious launch programme across APAC and, on occasion, across the globe.
  • Work with other business units to support commercial success through content creation.
  • Assist in brainstorming and sourcing information.
  • Write content and copy-edit as appropriate.
  • Ensure that all written work is written in Ten’s tone of voice and tells the story of Ten.
  • Keep abreast of travel and lifestyle trends and news to inform article content.
  • Liaise with other members of the global content team daily.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in relevant fields
  • Experience in managing a multilingual team of writers across different locations effectively
  • Ability to support regional content strategy to support commercial growth and adapt appropriately for very different markets
  • Ability to produce compelling copy across multiple media including mailers, website articles, listings, and reviews
  • Basic grasp of eCRM principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent general knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, error-free, engaging content within tight deadlines
  • Ability to stay agile and motivated in a time-pressured working environment
  • Excellent time management
