Position Summary: Head of Finance, Thailand

The Head of Finance, Thailand will be responsible for leading and managing VeriFone Thailand ’s finance team and commercial performance .  He/she will also be a business partner to the Country Manager and management team and, as such will participate in the development and execution of the company’s strategic and business plans. 

The Head of Finance must be a “businessperson” with a strong financial and operational grounding who is also capable of building and managing a strong business that can deliver results .

Your Essential Responsibilities:

  • Providing day to day oversight of the financial operations and ensuring appropriate controls are in place for the Thailand business  
  • Ensuring Country Managers’ and Sales Leaders’ forecasts are robust and accurate .  Be prepared to dig deep to find out what is happening in
  • Managing a team with an operational focus and superior capabilities in all areas of finance.
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Continuous improvement on Accounts Receivable and operational metrics
  • Align Solutions and Services forecast with the financial planning and analysis revenue commits for APAC.
  • Drive Sales teams to forecast opportunities in SFDC and encourage the usage of the tool to maximize its ability to help regional leadership control and manage the revenue forecast and Sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales Operations teams to plan and help execute future revenue forecasts and opportunities.
  • Work with Country Manager, Product & Solutions, Marketing and senior leaders to build long term product strategies/roadmaps.
  • Review and analyze Sales-related activities associated with the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, Sales productivity achieving goals.
  • Be the focal point for Sales to participate in quarterly and annual planning sessions with Sales and Finance teams in order to be aligned with future outlook and conduct pre-planning activities accordingly.
  • Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools
  • Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
  • Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
  • Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports and at times, Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
