Sephora Thailand opened its first store in the year 2013, it now operates 9 stores with 2 flagships in Siam Centre and Emquartier. Projected to have 19 stores in the year 2020. Sephora Thailand is looking to recruit an experienced Head of Human Resources to reinforce its capabilities and establish Sephora as an employer of choice.

Requirements

The mission for the Head of HR role is to create and lead strategic people initiatives for Sephora Thailand. You will devise and deploy an innovative and contemporary human resources strategy and policy framework that enables the Thailand organisation to meet its business objectives via a skilled and engaged workforce. You will take ownership of the development and successful deployment of best practice processes for recruiting, payroll, people development, internal communications, recognising and rewarding teams at both retail and corporate level. You will have the ultimate responsibility for all people/HR-based activities within the greater Thailand business from both an operational and strategic perspective. Reporting to the Country General Manager with a functional reporting into the Vice President, Human Resources, South East Asia you will lead a growing and dynamic HR team.


Key responsibilities

Strategic Human Capital Management to achieve high performance

  • Lead and elevate the country HR team during a period of transformation and expansion by spearheading and deploying appropriate human capital strategies and people programs for a high- growth market
  • Participate in organisation design & transformation as well as guide and deploy change management practices to support the growth objectives of the country whilst positioning Sephora Thailand as an employer of choice
  • Drive employee-centricity and nurture a winning and engaging culture to drive high performance and team engagement in a time of transformation

Business Partnering

  • Nurture collaborative and trusting relationship with key stakeholders to support key people operations and compliance
  • Partner regional and country stakeholders to anticipate and build organization and people capabilities, improving workforce capabilities to increase sustainable growth

Compensation & Benefits,

  • Develop new, as well as review and enhance existing reward policies to ensure compliance and relevance
  • Work with Regional Compensation and Benefits on core rewards cycles such as salary and benefits benchmarking exercises and surveys to establish and maintain a competitive reward structure
  • Support Regional Compensation and Benefits to drive harmonisation work streams

Performance Management

  • Manage the Annual Performance Review and Annual Salary Review & Promotion cycles.
  • Work with Business Units to ensure timely submissions including appropriate justifications for promotion and adjustment recommendations.
  • Coach and provide guidance to Managers on managing performance issues at all levels, including performance coaching and improvement, and providing support with staff exits when necessary.

Workforce Budgeting and Planning & Reporting

  • Keep abreast of local labour market conditions, vis-à-vis organisation transformation plans and growth priorities to achieve optimal workforce planning
  • Prepare and manage People budget, Head
