Head of Casino Analytics

We are looking for a Head of Casino Analytics to join our Casino team in Dublin.

Are you our next star player?

You can expect to be taking on an exciting and pivotal role in our growing Casino business unit. We want to hire a highly motivated leader to build a world class analytics team that will take our performance to the next level by embedding data driven culture in key strategic and operational decisions.

Why we need you:

We are looking for an experienced leader to develop and execute the department’s vision and strategy, leading the casino analytics team and recruiting and training a team of 5-6 FTE.

We’re growing rapidly with a huge focus on acquiring new Casino players globally, leveraging our brands and providing an outstanding experience to our players. Our aim is to build the largest online casino in the world. Your role within the Casino team will be central to the decision making on how our teams pivot and change to market developments.

You’ll develop and import new methodologies, technologies, tools and systems for outstanding working procedures as well as lead the analysis of key strategic projects including presentations to exec level.

In additional, we’ll look for you to:

• Support other departments’ strategy and business decisions
• Continue challenging of Casino strategy and operational decisions
• Be proactive in recommendations for business improvements and new initiatives
• Be a focal point for research aspects, working closely with internal and external teams
• Ensure relevant competitors (direct and indirect) and markets analysis and comparison is completed
• Work closely with central teams to create a consistent and harmonized BI workflows
• Support the Casino MD in key business decisions, executive meetings and in formalising the business unit strategy
• Be an integral part of the Casino management team

Who we’re looking for:

In this role, it’s very likely you’ll have around 5 years+ experience in analytics working for an online B2C company. We’ll want you to show proven experience of running a BI team and shine at interview stage by clearly demonstrating strong business understanding and growth orientation. You’ll be able to show experience in successfully working in a matrix environment, preferably at a global scale.

In terms of individual attributes, you’ll be:

• Highly numerate and analytical
• Self-motivated with an ability to work independently
• A strong communicator at all levels, from c-suite to talking with tech and business support staff
• Highly organised and able to delegate effectively

Whilst not crucial, if you have an MBA in a relevant discipline, that’s a big tick in the box too.
