Primary Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Managing Director this role will be responsible for the Harley Academy brand, leading your team in overhauling and managing digital (website, email, social) and paid activity to place them firmly as best in class.

  • You will be expected to develop and own your marketing strategy to deliver on business objectives.
  • You will need to be metric-driven, comfortable reporting on performance and proactively recommend and implement initiatives to improve KPIs and performance.
  • You will be expected to evolve our current set-up, making the most of the tools we have (HubSpot) and executing improvements in process and understanding across your team.
  • You will need knowledge of all core marketing disciplines, with excellent technical marketing skills, copy skills and a good command of Wordpress. Experience with E-commerce would be beneficial.
  • You will be required to manage a growing team. Management experience beneficial but not essential.

Requirements

Required

  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for ROI
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing roles, with knowledge of all core marketing disciplines
  • Excellent copywriting skills, communication, punctuation and grammar. Fluent written and spoken english.
  • eCommerce experience

Desired Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficient with common technology and marketing tools such as Wordpress, Hubspot, Google Analytics
  • PPC, SEO ranging from copy, tagging to agency management
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills plus the ability to manage data, measure performance and identify areas of improvement.

Desirable

  • Experience in a science, medical or education-related business
  • Interest in start-ups and an understanding of the challenges of working in a rapidly evolving environment
  • Must be happy taking responsibility and accountability for their own work as part of a team, and be comfortable making decisions
  • Social media and/or Digital wizard, with an understanding of the mechanics of the major platforms
