Outdoor Vending Host/Hostess sells ice-cream, popcorn, bottled drinks and souvenirs to guests and also acts as a stocker, material keeper and cashier. You will answer guest’s questions and offer assistance as necessary. Your communication skills and sales skills will be improved, and your hospitality will bring memorable experiences to our guests.
Vending involves greeting the Guests in a friendly manner and taking their order, preparing and delivering the product, and ending each transaction in a positive and friendly manner
Position requires individual to possess strong cash-handling capabilities, working with or without a register; individual should be able to add quick calculations and count back change
Position requires individual to stand for entire shift on a variety of firm and sometimes wet surfaces due to rain (surfaces include fatigue mats, cobblestone, concrete, asphalt, and tile floors)
Pushing/pulling heavy items as required completing tasks (e.g., large carts, dollies, and wagons)
Equipment operation, including working near equipment that generates heat, cleaning and maintaining overall cleanliness of the wagon, which includes sanitizing and assembling machines (e.g., ovens, popcorn poppers, chiller carts and cotton candy machines and food carts) is required to complete tasks
Based on business need and Cast Members’ credentials, below tasks will be assigned from time to time.
Support guest flow in general, including in different locations
Assist guests with directions, answer questions, provide information and solutions as needed
Support cleaning work areas and guest areas
Assist logistics and stocking
Keep Shanghai Disney Resort clean by picking trash
Handle cash or process POS in other LOBs ( * applicable to cash-handling/POS related jobs only)
Able to make independent decisions for our guests
Flexible/adaptable (may work a variety of areas, conditions, and/or have changing start/end times)
Strong verbal communication skills (able to positively engage with guests, team members and management)
Some non-verbal communication may be involved with non-Chinese speaking guests
Salary: your salary consists of a base salary + service bonus + floating year-end bonus

You will be working at Shanghai Disney Resort in Pudong, Shanghai. You can take metro Line 11 to Shanghai Disney Resort station or take one of our many shuttle buses.
