Job Summary

To properly clean and supply all assigned guest rooms and other areas as designed. Assist with preparation for daily work assignments and team success.

Summary of Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Picks up extra cleaning and guest room supplies in the Housekeeping department.
  • Properly cleans and stocks assigned quota of rooms daily according to standards.
  • Maintains a clean and neat area at all times.
  • Replaces guest room amenities as necessary.
  • Reports all maintenance problems to Supervisor / Facilities.
  • Assist with stocking and cleaning of all housekeeping.
  • Assists with making of linen bags for daily turns.
  • Stocks area for next day.
  • Checks vacuum bags twice a day, emptying if full.
  • Offers assistance to guests in a friendly, genuine and courteous manner.
  • Maintains records of work completed.
  • Reports and delivers lost and found items to the Housekeeping office.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the resort guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.
  • Completes deep cleans of guests rooms as assigned.

Required Experience

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Requires basic employment skills in clerical, service, or manual areas.
  • This position requires a minimum formal education of some high school.
  • Minimum of six months job-related experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
