Purpose of the Role:
As part of the wider HR team the HR Business Partner will support a division or business contract. The core role involves advising and coaching on people related issues, ensuring all relevant policies are followed and implementation of HR related activities across the division all with the ultimate aim of supporting the operation to deliver their goals. The People Partner will work with Team Leaders, Operations Managers and the Head of the Departments on daily basis, as well as supporting wider cross business projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide support and guidance to Managers, and other members of staff, on people related issues and be the key case worker for escalated issues
  • Ensure all documentation and communication relating to the internal processes are completed by the relevant parties
  • Assist in the development, implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices
  • Conduct relevant training for managers in HR areas; engagement, performance, absence, grievance and disciplinary processes
  • Manage HR KPI’s (Absence, retention etc.,)
  • Manage internal communication activities and HR related administration for the business area
  • Delivery of Induction for new hires
  • Manage the on boarding activities for all new team leaders in conjunction with their line manager
  • Support internal and external recruitment as required
  • Manage and take the project lead on employee engagements projects and activities as required, including morale and wellbeing
  • Develop & maintain CSR relationships and manage CSR initiatives on-site

    Requirements
  • HR discipline qualification such as CIPD
  • 3-5 years’ experience of providing HR services & support in a large environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Irish employment law
  • Experience in the hiring process
  • Experience in developing effective written policies and communications
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in contact centre is an advantage
  • Full Clean Drivers licence with ability to travel and support activities at any site
