HR Business Partner (f/m/d)

Fulltime and permanent

Your key responsibilities:

  • You are an operational partner for leaders by consulting, encouraging and supporting them to effectively manage their people, including best use of tools, processes and interventions
  • You are part of a local HR team with one HR Advisor reporting into you
  • Your are responsible to build up professional HR partnering with a long-term perspective in Hamburg but also across different sites in Germany and Austria 
  • You understand the business needs and provide advice and guidance to different levels of leaders about the employees HR life cycle and labor law related aspects
  • You are taking over a lead role in HR projects (e.g. design and implementation of comprehensive structures and processes; implementing Workday features) or providing change management support for business related initiatives
  • You successfully collaborate with works council panels and strongly support in negotiations, being a partner for the business
  • You intensively work with international HR colleagues to build up common Evotec HR standards and ensure the alignment to the global HR strategy for Germany/Austria

Your ideal qualifications:

  • You have a HR related academic degree (e.g. Economics, Law Sciences, Social Sciences, Psychology etc.)
  • Furthermore experience as HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, ideally in a complex and growing international company environment
  • Additional education in coaching, new HR work approaches, project management is highly welcomed
  • You are eager to grow with challenges and drive changes and you are curious to build up a modern HR environment with a growing business. Therefore you have no fear to start in the basics of HR work to define and harmonize processes and build up standards
  • You have a very good understanding and expertise of HR processes as well as HR process development and execution (Hiring, Onboarding, Individual / Leadership Development, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Talent Management)
  • You are able to think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas to find the best solutions for the company and the team
  • You have extensive experience in collaboration with works councils, excellent negotiating skills and the ability to manage and lead multiple projects at once
  • You are able to make pragmatic decisions and to diplomatically balance between different parties
  • While having detail oriented analytical skills in guiding conclusions out of HR data, you are able to keep the big picture in mind
  • You have of course very good German and English language skills, verbally and in writing
  • Ideally you have experiences with Workday as a HR workflow and management system
