Job Description

* Acting as a key advisor to the Australian business on all HR related processes and issues.
* Acting as a trusted HR advisor to the management team(s) of assigned business divisions including Investment Banking and Capital Markets, APAC Markets, Private Banking and Corporate Functions.
* Supporting, mentoring, and advising line managers in resolution of critical individual HR cases as well as propagate the use of HR standard methodology.
* Partner with HR Subject Matter Experts to deliver extraordinary advice regarding compensation, benefits, diversity, learning, employee development, talent and goal setting, human capital management, immigration/visa issues, international assignment management, promotions, performance management, voluntary and involuntary terminations, and employee retention support.
* You have proficient knowledge and at least 3 years’ experience of HR standard methodologies in areas such as: labor relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, policy/procedure interpretation/application, training and development and benefits administration.
* You have the ability to understand business strategy and HR implications.
* You have results oriented with the ability to execute as well as creatively solve problems.
* You have conflict resolution and project management experience and abilities.
* You have effective written & verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills.
* You have combined analytical and persuasion skills with a comfort and flexibility level to work with all levels of the business including senior management.
* You possess the ability to establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, management, key partners and colleagues in the business and HR.
