Job Title: Immigration Paralegal

Type: Full-Time, Remote (LatAm)

Working Hours: Mondays - Fridays 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST

Compensation: $2,000 - $2,500 (based on assessment)

We are a boutique law firm headquartered in Chicago, Florida. Our firm specializes in US immigration law.

Job Description:

We are presently in search of a skilled Paralegal Assistant to join our team. You will play a vital role in providing comprehensive support throughout the immigration process. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of US immigration paralegal experience, be proficient in MS Suites and project management tools, possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work remotely in the CST time zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file visa petitions, green card applications, naturalization forms, and other immigration-related documents with USCIS and other government agencies.

  • Conduct client intake interviews, gather supporting documentation, and maintain case files using immigration case management.

  • Research immigration laws, regulations, and procedures to assist attorneys in developing case strategies and responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs).

  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates, explain processes, answer questions, and obtain additional information as needed.

  • Assist with preparing clients for USCIS interviews, drafting affidavits and legal briefs, and managing deadlines for various immigration applications and renewals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a US immigration paralegal role is required.

  • Deep familiarity with common immigration forms and processes like H1B, PERM, L1, L140, etc.

  • High proficiency in MS Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.

  • Capacity to work remotely and adapt to the CST time zone.
