Job Description

The ANSYS Platform Implementation Specialist is a member of the EMEA Field Engineering organization. As a Technical Implementation specialist, you will work closely with our customers, leveraging internal technical and project management teams, to facilitate the end‐to‐end delivery of our simulation solutions and customer specific software systems. 
The delivery of these systems will include the elicitation, documentation and analysis of customers’ business/functional requirements, system design and solution configuration, onsite deployment and implementation, user training and go‐live support.  

  • Provide Customer care, Professional Services, Business support and BU Assistance as required.   
  • Work in an agile environment to develop the next-generation simulation platform for customizing ANSYS products according to the customer needs 
  • Integrate various ANSYS tools as well as third party software into the platform to deliver novel automated simulation workflows for specific engineering applications 
  • Propose, design, implement, and maintain software components which meet project requirements 
  • Strong sense of clean and simple design  
  • Actively participate in project planning, design brainstorm sessions and scrum meetings 
  • Interact with project teams across applications to address project requirements 
  • Work with engineering teams to develop easy-to-use tools 
  • Create and maintain testing strategy 
  • Be a team player who can collaborate effectively with all key ANSYS and customer stakeholders including sales, product development, project management, implementation engineers, and end users 
  • Think “outside the box”, prototype internally and let your ideas be known. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Math, Computer Sciences, Engineering or related field 
  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience for a commercial software company 
  • Demonstrated use of relevant ANSYS software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA software package 
  • Knowledge in Python, C#, .NET and WPF  
  • Knowledge in Front-end programming: Javascript, Angular/React, JQuery, HTML5, 
  • Logical problem-solving approach and the ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solution to the customer 
  • Understanding of software architecture and ability to plan and oversee execution. 
  • Experience with DevOps/continuous integration  
  • Must have passion and drive for personal technical excellence and high performance 
  • Must have customer service aptitude and maintain customer focus  
  • Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English

  • Good understanding of web architecture, distributed systems and web APIs, such as REST)  
  • Practical knowledge of agile project management
